We recommend taking Exit 286 from Hwy 5 and following these directions: (This might not be what Google tells you to do!)Please note that the Voght Street bridge has not been rebuilt since being destroyed in the November 2021 flooding. 1. Leave Highway 5 at Exit 286 or keep straight if coming from Kelowna direction on Highway 97C, and proceed towards Merritt, then turn left on to Coldwater Road just as you reach the built up area at the edge of town. 2. Turn right on Pooley Avenue (well marked as truck route).3. At the end of Pooley Ave, turn left on to Houston. Follow Houston across the bridge, to the end of the road.4. Turn right at Midday Valley Road, then left on to Lindley Creek Road.5. Follow Lindley Creek Road down the hill and past the school. The entrance to the rodeo grounds is just at the end of the school yard. ALTERNATIVELY - Stay on the main road into Merritt from Exit 286 – then turn left onto Houston St. at the first traffic light. Kal Tire will be on your right and you will see the mill log yard kitty corner to the left. - Follow Houston around a few curves and across the bridge until it ends at Midday Valley Road.Then you can follow the directions above from there.
